3. Another dear friend @hanna_maaria took me to the soft launch of @officine.brera - oh my oh my this vitello tonnato and everything else too!!! Congratulations on the opening Officine Brera 🍾

Yup, if you read all this, you know that despite these smiling pictures, I'm not okay. I don't want to talk about my personal life in more detail here, but if you've been wondering why my blog or this account isn't as active as it used to be, that's why.

I'm also working on something important, big and exciting and I simply don't have time to create anything else... sometimes the worst and best things can happen at the same time 🎢 It's really good to remember that what you see on this app is always just a tiny curated slice of life.

🥝 skins: yay or hell no?

Kiwi skins are full of fiber, hence I taught myself to eat them! At first I'd drench them in salad dressings, like in this kiwi + cucumber + fennel + blueberry + vegan feta salad, but nowadays I just bite into a kiwi fruit with no support from other textures.

And whaddya know, that hairy texture that used to give me the chills, is absolutely no problem anymore!

Recent (tr)eats: 🎃

Paahdoin eilen uunissa pari pöydällä pyörinyttä kurpitsaa. Mausteena oli vain loraus öljyä, suolaa, mustapippuria ja hippunen kookossokeria (karamellisoi pintaa). Ajatus oli että teen niistä kaikenlaisia ruokia viikon varrella, mutta söinkin puolet yhdeltä istumalta 😳 siis ihan sellaisenaan!

Jep, kun jokin on hyvää, niin ei sen kanssa mitään kikkailua tarvita. Ja kurpitsa kaikissa muodoissaan on ihanaa!

Arctic char wrapped in salt preserved shiso, brown butter, salmon roe & bok choy. Buttery oaked Chardonnay in the glass, because that's how I roll (literally, after this meal 🥵)
